My first contact with yoga was when I was 15 years old – I saw a book called „Power Yoga“ in my sister’s bookshelf, and not knowing what yoga was, flipped through it curiously. It piqued my interest, and soon I tried my first sun salutations on the floor. I couldn’t put in words what I liked about it, but I kept doing it and felt good with it, in tune with myself. Now, many years later, not really that much has changed about this simple truth: Doing yoga feels good. There is a special quality about the silent introspection that can happen if you let go and listen to that space that’s you.

After discovering yoga as a teen, it took me over 20 years to make a full circle and REALLY discover it. In the meantime, I finished school, was an apprentice, studied digital design, moved places, worked on computer games, created websites and apps, did product management for e-commerce startups, traveled, acquired skills, did things, went more places, and did more things, and somehow I ended up in this little ashram in India and WOW there was yoga and it was beautiful!

How could one ever describe the full experience? It’s impossible. Nestled away in between palm trees and rich green rice fields lies a little paradise in which I was introduced to the ancient art of Ayurvedic healing, as well as the equally ancient ways of Yoga. What was planned to be just an enriching, curiosity-satisfying experience for me, turned out to become a truly transformative process. I realized that some topics had been playing a very powerful role in my life for a long time, but I hadn’t been aware enough. New ideas and realizations came together in unexpected ways and gave me the impetus to turn my life around and follow new ways that opened up before me.

So here I am, ready to share with you what I learned. My mission is to guide you on your yogic journey. We can walk a part of the path together – the path that leads to, but also already is, radical bravery to be your true authentic self.
